Install Setto flush pulls

Fix Single Side

NB: It is highly recommended you apply the finish of your choice to the handles prior to installation.
 

a) Locate and mark the position you want to install the handles on the door face.
 

b) Cut a hole in the door to accommodate the size of the *rear inset.
   
    *the rear inset is 10mm smaller than the face of the handle (unless you have specified otherwise). 

     For example, if the face is 100mm diameter the rear inset will be 90mm diameter. 

 

 

c) Place a couple of drops of wood glue on the rear of the handle. Gorilla glue is suitable and readily available at hardware stores.
 

   
 

d) Fix the handle within the hole.
 

e) Clamp the Setto securely until the glue *sets taking care not to scratch the face.
    *Check the glue instructions for drying time  

f) Take a photo and send it to us!

 


Fix Back to Back (One handle in either side of the door)

NB: It is highly recommended you apply the finish of your choice to the handles prior to installation.
 

a)  Locate and mark the position you want to install the handles on the door face.
 

b) Cut a hole in both sides as instructed in b) above.
 

c) One Setto may have a *packing piece attached or supplied loose. This is ensure that the pair fix together touching
    inside the door.
     
*The packer size (if supplied) is based on the door thickness you provided. 

d) If a packer is supplied loose then place a couple of drops of glue on one side. Then adhere to the rear of one of the handles.
 

e) Place a couple of drops of glue on the back of the other handle and if preferred a little on the underside of the rim.
 

f) Insert one handle and then from the other side of the door insert the other. The backs should fit snuggly together.
 

g) Clamp until the glue sets taking care not to scratch the face.
